Chilean police use teargas & water cannons to disperse protestors for rights of indigenous people
Hundreds of people gathered in the Chilean capital of Santiago to protest for the rights of the Mapuche indigenous people.
Streets were set on fire as police dispersed around 400 protesters using water cannons and teargas.
The Mapuche cause came to prominence when a 24-year-old farmer named Camilo Catrillanca was shot in the back by police in the Araucania region in November 2018.
